Valley Schools Management Group (VSMG) Elects Mike Barragan and Jim Migliorino to Board of Directors
Valley Schools Management Group is honored to announce the election of Mike Barragan as Vice Chairman and Jim Migliorino as Secretary to VSMG’s Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2023.
Mike Barragan is a highly respected professional in the field of school finance. Before assuming this position, Mike has served on the VSMG Board of Directors since 2017. Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Auxiliary Services at the Glendale Elementary School District, Mr. Barragan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role. Additionally, he holds the esteemed position of being a board member of the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBOI) and is a past president of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO).

I look forward to assuming this new position and doing my part to contribute to the success of Valley Schools,” said Mike Barragan, “I have witnessed firsthand how Valley Schools has saved my districts and others millions of dollars during that time.”
Jim Migliorino is a distinguished professional with over 30 years of experience in the field of education and has been on the Board of Directors of VSMG since 2011. Jim brings an abundance of knowledge and expertise to his new role and has served as the Associate Superintendent of Fiscal Services at Deer Valley Unified School District since 2007. Jim formerly served as the President of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO).
